The Shamkris Charity Foundation organized a blood donation camp on 14 August 2023, in commemoration of Independence Day. The event was supported by various organizations including Western Edge II society presided by Dr. Mamta Jain and other members, the Rotary Club of Bombay Kandivli (RCBK), Business Network International (BNI), and Tata Memorial Centre.

Shamkris Charity Foundation ensured smooth conduct of the donation camp with full support from Tata Memorial Centre Team and the efforts were appraised by one and all including donors.

The camp saw the participation of around 160 individuals who registered to donate blood. However, due to health reasons, 60 people were deemed ineligible to donate. Nonetheless, a total of 80 individuals successfully donated their blood.

In recognition of the valuable contributions made by the blood donors, Shamkris Charity Foundation expressed its gratitude by presenting them with Tulsi saplings. This gesture not only expressed appreciation for the donors' willingness to contribute to a noble cause but also encouraged environmental sustainability by gifting them plant saplings.

The blood donation camp organized by Shamkris Charity Foundation on the occasion of Independence Day not only facilitated the collection of much-needed blood but also highlighted the spirit of community collaboration and the importance of giving back to society.
